An Optimum Method of Audio Steganography to Hide Text in Audio

This paper proposes a new technique of audio steganography to improve text hiding in audio files by overcoming the limitations of traditional methods. Audio steganography is crucial for ensuring confidentiality and security in various applications, including personal communications, medical imaging, and digital rights management. This technique is a novel method used by researchers in secret information transmission. In this paper, we present an optimized approach using the amalgamation of the LSB substitution method with some advanced encryption techniques to provide more robustness and embedding capacity. Our approach unites under one cover a special approach of text embedding, having incorporated the new image interpolation technique providing reversibility and a fragile watermark for integrity verification. At the same time, these latter acts to alert the receiver in case tampering has taken place in the course of transmission and provide higher security for the hidden message. The proposed technique can achieve high data-embedding capacity with minimum distortion while preserving strong resistance of both intentional and unintentional data alteration. The experimental results validate that our methodology outperforms the conventional LSB methods in terms of embedding capacity and distortion. It can be applied to secure communication, digital watermarking, and forensic audio analysis. Future work will focus on optimizing data retrieval, expanding compatibility to more audio formats, and improving computational efficiency. This work enhances the study of steganography by presenting a secure text-hiding scheme within audio, enabling secure and reliable data communication.
